Made of cold drawn, seamless, chromoly tubing, the rear control arms for Mitsubishi Evo 4-9, remove the OEM rubber bushings with hight quality rose/heim joints commonly referred to as “uniballs”.
Designed, fabricated and TIG welded with enormous attention to details, both for their esthetical appeareance, and for their functionality and strenght. Much more rigid than the cast alluminium OEM article, they’re suited for hard use for both rallying, and track racing. The spherical joints remove any of the play the stock rubber bushings have, providing extreme precision in the behaviour of the front of the car. They also let you quickly and efficiently change camber, toe and caster angle, to squeeze out every little bit of performance, your front suspension can provide. We didn’t spare expenses for the generous sizing of the spherical joints. Pins, studs, and bushings are are machined (not cheap rolled junk) from stainless steel, or high strenght nickel chromium molybdenum steel, depending on the specific application, deeply changing the behaviour of your Evo 4-9. They’re also compatible both with our tubular chromoly rear subframe you can find in this shop, or with the OEM subframe.
